Dr. Shana Reidy

Dentist

Dr. Reidy has been caring for patients at Dental Care Seattle for nearly 20 years. Over that time she has had the privilege of building long lasting relationships with patients and their families. Her approach to dentistry is centered on building trust, listening, and partnering with patients to create and maintain beautiful healthy smiles.

She believes that exceptional dentistry goes beyond clinical expertise. As a parent of a special needs child, Dr. Reidy truly understands the importance of empathy, patience and kindness as well as a good sense of humor. She brings these values with her to work everyday in her practice.

A native of Tacoma, WA, Dr. Reidy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry at Saint Louis University before returning to the Pacific Northwest to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she moved to Fort Hood, TX where her husband was stationed as a US Army dentist. She practiced on base treating military families before returning to Seattle.

Dr. Reidy is committed to lifelong learning and continuing education. She has been an active member of both the PNW Premier and First Hill Study Clubs where she stays current with advances in dental techniques, materials and technology. She believes patients deserve to understand all of their available treatment options and works with each patient to develop a personalized dental plan that reflects their needs, priorities and long-term goals.

Dr. Reidy has been recognized by her colleagues and peers as one of Seattle's Top Dentists in Seattle Met Magazine every year since 2013. She serves on the medical staff of both the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Kraken. Alongside her colleague, Dr. Mulick, she serves as the on-site game-day dentist providing care for dental emergencies to the athletes.

Outside the office, Dr. Reidy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. Their family can often be found walking their rescue dog, Walter, around their Ballard neighborhood, birding at Greenlake, or heading east of the mountains to their favorite town of Plain, WA.
